Three standards, one discipline.
We establish and integrate the first; we audit and assess all three.
What we do with each
Always in this order. Only the first is implemented; the other two are audited and assessed.
ISO/IEC 42001
Artificial intelligenceImplementation · integration · internal audits · assessmentsAre the AI's risks and effects governed, and is someone accountable? The AI management system, on its own or built into the one you already run.
02ISO/IEC 27001
Information securityInternal audits · assessmentsIs the information your processes depend on protected, and do the controls operate in the systems rather than on paper?
03ISO 9001
Quality managementInternal audits · assessments · 2026 transitionDoes the process deliver what it should, every time, and does the organization learn when it doesn't?
For ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 we audit and assess; we don't implement them. For ISO/IEC 42001 we do both, and we never audit what we built.
One architecture, distinct objectives
The three standards share the same harmonised clause structure, so an organization running one already has most of the machinery for the next: context, leadership and policy, document control, competence, internal audit, management review and corrective action. What each keeps is its own. A quality system asks whether the output conforms. An ISMS asks whether the information the processes depend on is protected. An AIMS asks whether the AI is trustworthy in its effects. That shared structure is where we start when we implement ISO/IEC 42001 on a system you already run.
The AI standards and regulation map
The map keeps the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001 and the standards beneath them in one place: what each is for, the EU timetable, whether you are a provider or a deployer, and who supervises you. Read it against what applies to you.
